At the turn of the millennium, Hague Fasteners joined Richards & Allan (Nuts & Bolts) Ltd and European Breakdown Bolting (EBB Ltd), trading collectively as The Ralin Group. In 2010, we proudly returned to the original Hague Fasteners Limited name. It was an absolute pleasure to welcome the ITN news guys to our new facility this afternoon to show them around the site that is nearing completion.

In light of today’s triggering of Article 50 by British Prime Minister, Theresa May, Hague Fasteners were approached by Channel 5 News to feature on their Brexit Special News Report this evening.

Owner, Jon Hague, explained the ambitious project to purchase and renovate a brand new production facility in the Heart of England that was all decided on Post Brexit Referendum.

Jon Hague explained that the niche manufacturers in Britain would continue to grow despite the decision by the British People to leave the EU and that a major investment supported this belief.

Investment In New Special Fastener Machinery

Hague Fasteners have once again invested in increasing production capacity as sales records continue to grow reaching record breaking profitability levels not seen since the 1980’s.

This weeks new arrival at their Watery Lane Special Fastener Production facility sees CNC capacity increase by 20% since the start of the year.

Following the successful apprentice training schemes of 2013 Hague Fasteners are now seeing the skills acquired over the last 45 years being passed on to their new generation of Special Fastener technicians.

New advancements and investments in machine tools now sees Hague Fasteners massive diversity further increased, with the added ability to manufacture shafts and leadscrews with ACME Threads, Trapezoidal Threads and Square Threads, at more realistic prices than manufacturers that purely specialise in these thread forms.

Latest 3D modelling of special designed customer drawings now ensures manufactured Special Fasteners can be taken from a drawing to a physical component as if from stock.

It is a proud boast that Hague’s customer ethos can see an item made from round bar and supplied to a customer, faster than some bureaucratic fastener stockists need to pick from stock and make available for collection. A sorry state of a complacent fastener industry that Hague Fasteners have always been proud to be different from.
