Founded in 1971

Hague Fasteners began in 1971 as The Ralin Group, founded by John Stuart Hague. He saw the future of British manufacturing in delivering high-integrity bolting solutions for demanding applications. From the start, the company focused on small-batch production of custom-designed fasteners, often using advanced superalloys. This precision engineering quickly earned Hague a reputation as a trusted supplier to safety-critical industries.

Growth and Consolidation

By the early 2000s, the business expanded through the addition of sister companies Richards & Allan (Nuts & Bolts) Ltd and European Breakdown Bolting (EBB Ltd). These operations were consolidated under The Ralin Group Ltd. A Global Effort with Local Heart

Through this partnership, we proudly support planting projects across Tanzania, Haiti, Kenya, Rwanda, and Canada. Each location plays a vital role in restoring biodiversity and protecting vulnerable habitats. From East Africa to wildfire-stricken areas in North America, these reforestation efforts breathe new life into lands that have suffered the effects of environmental degradation.

In Canada, we’re especially excited to support initiatives restoring kelp forests — an often-overlooked ecosystem that plays a critical role in absorbing carbon and supporting marine life. Elsewhere, our tree planting helps heal land ravaged by deforestation and gives local communities the tools and training to thrive through sustainable forestry.
